Painted Scroll from India

These scrolls all have songs which go with them. They are a way to tell stories and news. Painter/singers travel throughout northern India from town to town. This scroll is a cautionary scroll about AIDS. Thanks to Lina Fruzzetti, Anthropology Professor at Brown who has documented this work.
