International Women's Day radio piece profiles women in the Niger Delta

When I went to Dakar, Senegal to participate in the Indymedia Convergence, I got a chance to spend the week with 15 women who traveled from the Niger Delta in Nigeria. They were in Dakar to learn media skills at the IMC-Africa Convergence, and to participate in the World Social Forum to spread awareness about the impact of oil companies on their lives. Here are the powerful, passionate, and inspired voices of Stella Chuky, Windy Grace Mamman, and Emem J Okun.
