http://www.eictv.org/   The International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV) is considered one of the best of its type in the world. It was founded on December 15, 1986 as a subsidiary of the Foundation of the New Latin American Cinema (FNCL). Its founders are Colombian journalist and writer Gabriel García Márquez, Argentinean poet and film maker Fernando Birri, and Cuban theoretician and film maker Julio García Espinosa. They aimed to create a school for all three worlds, a school for people from Latin America, Africa and Asia. Since that time, thousands of students and professionals from more than 50 countries have made this school a space of far-reaching cultural diversityand it has come to be called The School of All Worlds.

A member of the first class of the school was joao Ribiero, from Mozambique, who returned to his homeland after his training in Cuba to make the first Mozambiquan music video and several other films, including this beautiful film, The Gaze of the Stars.
